Evan turns 2!

Wow, he turned two on St. Patty's Day. We had a nice celebration at home with just us. Douglas was on Spring Break from school and daddy worked in the afternoon, so we were able to do something in the morning. We had his 2 year check up and he is lookin good. He had a huge height growth spurt and went from the 39th percentile to 74% in 6 months. He is pretty independent but I think he gets that from his big brother. And he is a loving little boy. He gives lots of spontaneous hugs and kisses. He is a great joy.

Well, this is the way I find Evan many a morning. He loves books and we keep a stack in his room for the purpose of keeping him entertained when he wakes up. But I will find him just sitting in bed with his books, having a wonderful time. And as the other picture shows, he just loves books and can sit for a long time just paging through them.
