The first year is done :(

WOW! Douglas has completed his first year of kindergarten. This year has gone by so fast. I wanted to post some pictures of him from kindergarten. The first is a picture of him and his friend Zach on a bus ride to the amazing farm, the next is him and three friends and the last is the whole class, all taken at the same place.

The top picture is Douglas with his teacher, the one to the left is a special quilt that the class made for their teacher, she is retiring this year.

Brayden turns 6 weeks old

Brayden turned
6 weeks old on Saturday May 24th. He has gotten so big already. I always say that our kids start out small but get big fast. He doesn't feel like a newborn anymore when I hold him. :( But I don't know for sure how much he weighs or anything and we don't go into the Dr. again until like the 23 rd of June for his 2 month check-up. And these are just a couple of the pictures I took of him on that day. He is such a little cutie pie. Not that I'm biased or anything :)

At Grandma's

Outdoor fun at grandmas

Our little domestic helper mopping grandmas floor for her. He likes to do this sort of thing at home as well.

Evan and cousin Caite

Seeing I had posted the little ones together, I thought I should put an updated picture of the other two I was talking about. This was taken last Saturday. Wow!, it seems like not too long ago and these two were the babies.

Brayden and cousin Ethan

This is Brayden Michael with his cousin Ethan Bradley. They are almost exactly 4 months apart, Ethan being older obviously. Ethan's older sister Caitelyn and our Evan are 7 weeks apart and we had taken pictures of them sleeping next to each other, so we though it would be cute to get these two together.

Our boys

Here is just an updated photo of all four of our boys together taken on Mother's Day. Such a handsome bunch of young men. Someone told me that there will be some very happy ladies some day. ;)

Picnic in the park

We had a beautiful day and decided to enjoy a picnic at the park. We had supper and play time. We all had a great time outside. Hopefully there will be more of them in the future.

Pictures of Brayden

Within the first week of being home.
Light therapy, one week old.
Compared to a teddybear that grandma made, 2 weeks old.
Just sleeping away.
Getting lovin's from big brother Evan.
Dreamin a little dream. Almost 4 weeks old.

The zoo.. out of the mouths of babes

Right after we got home from the hospital with Brayden, things were pretty chaotic in our house and the boys were outside playing and this is the sign Douglas wrote on our front step with sidewalk chalk. I felt it was so appropriate. If you can't tell what it says, it says
To the
zoo
Look
for animals
Welcome
so basically
welcome to the zoo,
look for animals.
To me it just summed up the chaos in our household. Totally cute.
