We gave the boys an early Christmas present yesterday. We got them a puppy. This is Elvis. The name was thrown out there as kind of a joke and it stuck. :)

Another school year started. Wow! It's unbelieveable that I already have two of my boys in school and in a year it will be three. The time is slipping away and they are challenging times but I will miss them so much when they are gone. Brayden is talking more and more, becoming a little boy instead of a baby. :( This is the last time we will go through this age/stage. I'm happy to move on to the next phase in our lives, be more involved with the kids at school, more available but there are definetly things I will miss about the passing phases.

Spicer Bike trip, Sept.4,2010

This is an approximately 25 mile round-trip bike ride. The boys did awesome. Douglas and Phillip both ride bikes and the other two get to ride in a bike trailer behind daddy. We stopped one time on the way there and one time on the way back for ice cream in Willmar. It was a fun time, if a little exhausting. :)

Douglas is 9!

I can not believe he is 9 already. He is already to my shoulders and growing so fast. He jumped 3 shoe sizes over the summer and I can not imagine where he will be at by the end of this school year. He will be starting 3rd grade tomorrow and he is super excited!
