Independence Day

Well, on the 3rd of July James worked but that night we went to a town 20 minutes away and went to an ice cream social and fireworks. Most of the kids had a good time but Evan really hates loud noises so he covered his ears and hid under a blanket pretty much the whole time. It was also 14 years to the day that James and I started "dating". On the 4th James had to work again so the kids and I hung around home most of the day. That evening we went to the same town for their parade. We really like to go to theirs because it is a good time of day for a parade and it doesn't last too long...only 45 minutes. Then we came home and did a bonfire before off to bed. It was a nice relaxing day.
